After winning a state title, there is only one thing left to do -- a celebratory parade through the school!
Philip Simmons High's girls and boys track teams on completed the sweep and won the state championships last weekend. For the girls this is their second straight state championship.
State wins are typically celebrated at Philip Simmons High by gathering the winning team to do a walk through the building, brandishing trophies and banners. Classmates and staff will line the hallways while the school's drumline leads the way through the building. The two track teams took their victory lap Wednesday morning.
Congratulations to both teams!
