Full Circle Moments are the Best!
Emilye Bryant visited cadets today to share details about the Teaching Fellows scholarship opportunity and Charleston Southern University’s School of Education.
Emilye is a BHS Class of 2022 graduate and a BHS Teacher Cadet completer. She was awarded the Teaching Fellows Scholarship upon graduation and currently attends Charleston Southern University where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Emilye will graduate CSU in 2026, and we hope she will come home to teach here in Berkeley County!
If you are interested in learning more about the Teacher Cadet program at BHS, be sure to mention this to your guidance counselor in your IGP! You are welcome to reach out to Ms. Klein at kleinj@bcsdschools.net with any questions. As always, feel free to stop by D106, too!

The first BHS Academic Rally was an absolute blast. We had over 900 students qualify for the rally, and the entire rally was student led by our very own Renaissance Team. The students played games, watched an amazing band performance, learned new chants with the cheerleaders, and finished the rally with the Alma Mater. Everything is #BetteratBerkeley.

The BHS Strength and Conditioning Program is recognizing these athletes for Living True, Creating Connection, and Pursing Excellence. Congratulations to these BHS Student Athletes for putting in the work and working hard in the weight room.

All students who took pictures should have had proofs emailed to them from Tumbleston Photography. To choose which pictures to use for the yearbook, log into your gallery, then you'll see the Yearbook Photo tab listed first. Click that, then click "get started", then click a photo, and then "confirm selection", and then you are all set! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Bacon.

BHS Staffulty continues to Pass the Buck each week, and the last two weeks the recipients were Ms. Johnson and Mr. Malone. These two teachers are doing great things in their classrooms on the D Hall. Thank you for being incredible teachers, and giving your best every day to our students! Congratulations Ms. Johnson and Mr. Malone!

Renaissance surprised our teachers with some sweet treats to thank them for all they have been doing! We appreciate our teachers and all they do for our students. #BetterAtBerkeley
