Berkeley High School is proud to announce that Coach William Fly has been nationally recognized by the National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA) with the prestigious Program of Excellence Award. This honor is reserved for schools that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to professionalism in strength and conditioning through top-tier programming, coaching, educational organization, and instructional strategy. Coach Fly has built an exceptional strength and conditioning program that supports student-athletes across all sports at Berkeley High School. His approach goes far beyond the weight room—developing speed, agility, power, and mental toughness in a structured and supportive environment. His dedication ensures that every athlete, regardless of sport, has the tools and training to perform at their best and stay healthy throughout their seasons. The Program of Excellence Award is a testament to the vision, leadership, and consistent work Coach Fly has invested into making strength and conditioning a pillar of Berkeley Athletics. His efforts have not only elevated the performance of our teams but have instilled a culture of discipline, hard work, and preparation that will benefit student-athletes long after they leave our campus. Please join us in congratulating Coach Fly on this outstanding achievement and in celebrating the continued growth of our athletic programs at Berkeley High School!
