Trenton is that student. His love of learning spans across math, literature and the arts. He is an incredibly hard working young man who maintains stellar grades while remaining humble, personable and polite. We are honored to have him in our team this year.
Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Still! At Westview Middle our teachers go above and beyond to ensure student success! This week, Ms. Still, one of our dedicated 8th-grade math teachers, identified a learning gap during her PLC and took immediate action. Today, she executed a thoughtful and intentional reteach to support her students' understanding. We are so proud of Ms. Still and all of our incredible teachers who work tirelessly to meet the needs of our students every day. Keep up the great work! #ExcellenceInEducation #StudentSuccess #TeacherSpotlight #ProudPrincipal

Our 7th graders really stepped up their persuasive writing game! Their teachers and Dr. Bradley challenged them with a $1000 budget to create the best essay about what our school needs. Huge shoutout to our winners: Lola M, who dreams of starting a news show with an iPad, and Beck B, who wants soccer goals for recess! #PersuasiveWriting #StudentVoices #ELA.C.1

Dr. Manchester was leading a great math PLC today where we focused on planning the reteach and our "I do, we do, you do" model. Behind her is one of Westview Middle's brand new smartboards! 66 rooms received new board this weekend and students were greeted with them today! We are thankful for our office of technology for their continued support of our students!
