Due to concerns about icy conditions and the ongoing impact of inclement weather, Berkeley County School District students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, January 24. In response to ongoing forecasts for wintry weather, to include the potential for snow, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced that schools will follow the half-day dismissal bell schedule on Tuesday, January 21. Students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Wednesday, January 22. All schools and offices will be closed Wednesday.

Kudos to Shana Walker on being named the Library Paraprofessional of the Year by the South Carolina Association for School Librarians! Shana was surprised yesterday with the award .

Mr. Sorbanelli is a superstar school communicator! He was the top Rooms user districtwide for the first half of the school year. As such, BCSD surprised him this week with four tickets to the Stingrays and some BCSD swag.

Last night, our boys' and girls' cross country teams were recognized at BCSD's school board meeting for their full sweep at state! We're so proud of these Iron Horses for their dedication to their sport and their commitment to excellence.
