This past Veterans Day we were deeply honored to welcome local soldiers who greeted our students with warm smiles and high fives as they arrived. Thank you to all who served — your bravery and sacrifice inspire our Little Foxes every day.

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Boo for Books Family Night at the end of October—our school was alive with families, games, and learning. Special thanks to the companies and the many families who donated candy and helped make the evening so sweet.

So many resources went home with tips and ideas for learning that can happen in the most fun ways —turning skip counting into hopscotch, using a bean-bag toss to practice weekly sight words, or making a memory-match game to review math facts in all grade levels. Our weekly newsletter for the next few weeks will continue to share some of the resources!

Remember, if you missed the event, you can contact our Title 1 Facilitator, Ms. Brittany Silver (silverb@bcsdschools.net) to request a resource bag to come home.
